Jessica was born in Dublin, Ireland and moved shortly after to Zurich, Switzerland, where she grew up. In 2012 she graduated from Zurich University with a Bachelor's degree in chemistry. She decided to pursue her career in inorganic chemistry by completing her Master's degree in 2013, where she researched novel approaches towards the combination of nanoparticles with the radionuclide technetium-99m, under the supervision of Prof. Roger Alberto. In 2014 she joined the Bradley group to work on the exciting palladium chemistry in cells.
In her spare time, she enjoys going out with friends, travelling, going to concerts and listening to music.
