Paige was born in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, in 1995. She graduated in 2018 with a BSc (Hons) and MPhys in Physics from the University of Leeds where her project focussed on synthesising cadmium-free quantum dots for applications in hybrid QLED devices. She was also awarded a summer research placement where she fabricated and tested microfluidic devices for their uses in bacterial detection. After graduation she moved to Edinburgh to begin her PhD in the Bradley group as part of the OPTIMA (optical medical imaging) CDT. Her research combines organic chemistry with peptide-polymer hybrid systems to develop high cell-uptake photodegradable nanoparticles for cancer therapy.
In her free time Paige enjoys amateur dramatics, skiing and playing videogames.
